Robert Tigges

Arguably the first name that comes to mind when you think about indoor hockey in Netherlands is Robert Tigges, arguably he may even be the first name you think of globally. Tigges earned his debut in 2011 for Netherlands in Indoor Hockey and achieved some brilliant success including being top goalscorer at the 2011 World Cup. The outstanding achievement in his time playing for Netherlands, was leading the country to the fairy-tale Indoor Hockey World Cup title in 2015. Against all odds the Dutch triumphed over the heavily favoured hosts to lift the cup.

Robert is a true magician on the court and is able to create pockets of space and goal scoring opportunities with the turn of his stick almost like a wand. Not only has Robert been a star on the court but he has also been a true role model for young aspiring hockey players.

He has become a pioneer for the game as player and recently as a coach. There is absolutely no doubt you can learn from this hockey legend.

Teun Rohof

Tuen Rohof is arguably one of the most tenacious players in indoor hockey. He has been a long time club mate of Tigges at AH&BC Amsterdam, but it is on the indoor court they achieved their greatest moment with the unlikely and historic World Cup victory in 2015. Currently, Teun is the most capped Dutch Indoor player with over 80 International caps.

He is an attacking defender which possesses great skills and speed which is always entertaining to watch and has the a superb sliding shot on the break that many keepers have failed to save. Teun has been involved with coaching for many years in the Netherlands and is extremely passionate about indoor hockey, even taking part in coaching clinics in Zimbabwe and South Africa. With his positive energy and experience kids can no doubt learn from this great player.
